How I Became the Highest Paid Health Coach in the UK and Still Built the Wrong Business

At one point I had what most coaches would call a VERY successful business.

I was a published author.

I appeared regularly on radio, TV and in print.

I built a multi-six-figure business and became the highest paid health coach in the UK.

And I was fucking miserable.

The money was real.

The status was real.

The success people saw from the outside was real.

But so was the moment I looked in the mirror and barely recognised the person looking back at me.

I'd followed the advice.

Implemented the strategies.

Built what successful people were apparently SUPPOSED to build.

And somewhere along the way I'd utterly LOST myself in the process.

The distinction

Revenue by itself can't tell you whether a coaching business is successful.

That's why I don't believe revenue by itself can tell you whether a coaching business is successful.

It can tell you what the business EARNS.

But it can't tell you what the business COSTS the person running it.

Their health.

Their relationships.

Their freedom.

Their self-respect.

Or their ability to enjoy the life all that money was supposed to create.

So look, don't only ask whether the business you're building can succeed.

Ask whether you'll still respect the person you need to become to make it work.

Truth, joy and love
