There are days when you've got less energy than usual.
Your health might need more attention.
Life might have become unusually demanding.
Or perhaps you're just knackered and don't have as much to give as you normally do.
Most coaches seem to respond in one of two ways.
They either FORCE themselves to follow the plan exactly as it's written and feel like a failure when they can't...
Or they stop completely and promise they'll start again when everything feels easier.
I don't think either approach is particularly skilful.
The principle
Lower capacity doesn't have to mean lower standards.
Sometimes it's just about reducing the friction around the actions that matter most.
Maybe you don't create seven posts.
You just write one honest one.
Maybe you don't build the ENTIRE funnel.
You follow up with the three people who've ALREADY shown an interest in whatever it is you're offering.
Maybe you don't launch the BIG campaign.
You make ONE clear offer to someone you genuinely believe you can help.
The beauty about this approach is that the STANDARD remains the same.
You're still doing things truthfully, skilfully and properly.
You've just removed the unnecessary weight around it.
And no, this isn't an excuse to hide forever inside tiny actions that never move the needle.
It's simply a way to keep moving when demanding full capacity from yourself would cause you to stop moving altogether.
So look, when your energy is lower, don't be tempted to lower the standard or abandon the result you want.
Instead, take away whatever it is that's getting in the way.
Ask what you can simplify.
Ask what you can remove.
And ask for the smallest action that still creates REAL movement.
Reduce the friction.
Keep the standard.
