Why Business Retreats Need to Create More Than Inspiration

I've attended enough events to know how easy it is to feel transformed in the room.

The speaker is brilliant.

The conversations are powerful.

Your notebook is full and, for a few days, everything feels possible again.

Then you go home.

The messages start.

The clients need you.

The bubble bursts.

And the usual problems scream for your attention and the inspired version of you slowly disappears back into the business that created the frustration in the first place.

The point

That's why inspiration isn't the goal of The GuRu Project retreat.

I mean sure, I HOPE you feel inspired.

But I'm far more interested in whether your Messenger, Message, Majik, Model, Money, Market and Marketing have been defined, refined and aligned before you leave.

Because a powerful feeling without a coherent business to return to simply becomes another memory of what seemed possible.

You don't need ten 'inspiring' days and another notebook full of ideas you're left to connect alone.

You need decisions.

You need coherence.

And you need each part of the business to support the person, work and life it's supposed to serve.

So yes, inspiration matters.

But it isn't the outcome.

What you can clearly and deliberately bring to life when you return home is.

Truth, joy and love
