Speed Only Amplifies Direction.
Going faster doesn’t solve being pointed the wrong way. It just gets you somewhere you don’t want to be sooner.
What It Means
We glorify momentum.
More action.
More content.
More clients.
More revenue.
More growth.
Faster.
Bigger.
NOW.
But acceleration is only useful AFTER direction has been chosen well.
If you’re pointed in the wrong direction, speed doesn’t rescue you.
It magnifies the mistake.
A business growing quickly in the wrong direction becomes a bigger problem.
A diary filling with the wrong kind of work becomes harder to escape.
A lifestyle built around priorities you don’t actually value becomes more difficult to dismantle the more successful it looks from the outside.
This is why I’m suspicious of advice that starts with acceleration before asking what the destination actually is.
Scale it.
Automate it.
Do more.
Push harder.
Grow faster.
Maybe.
But first...
Do you actually want where this takes you?
Because there’s nothing particularly impressive about reaching the wrong destination in record time.
